Good or bad? I guess that's up to you, the user, but a few things have been said about the Windows 10 update. Apparently with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, you can't turn Cortana off. This means that it is listening to you as long as the computer is on, waiting for you to say "Hey, Cortana" so it may be of assistance. Some may think this is cool, that you can talk to your computer whenever you want, while others feel it is an invasion of their privacy, either way, it is there. Still, there are steps you can take to cripple what Cortana receives, and allows you to use it solely as a search engine of sorts, but its other features will be inaccessible. On the other hand, you can get the full experience, but give Cortana your calendar, emails, contacts, location, and text content in return. It's up to the user.
