Robots Running a Hotel!

Would you believe that hotels run by robots exist? Well believe it! Japan is now home to two automated hotels. The approach is not only fun and interesting, but cost efficient and energy efficient. Robots programmed with the English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language interact with you by checking you in and carrying your bags, and complete other tasks by cleaning, cooking, etc. The robots are designed to learn by mimicking human tone of voice and expressions when conversing. The hotel uses facial recognition to check you in at only $60 to get in, while you have to bid for the room you want. Once checked in, you can get into your room using this same facial recognition. Costs are kept so low by minimizing the amount of paid workers while using solar panels and LED lights to save energy! How amazing is that?
